Heating Equipment
During the winter, a comfort system that is too large will heat your home quickly, but could leave you with uncomfortable variations in temperature. A system that is too small
will run constantly on the coldest days without maintaining the temperature. AIRQUIP can help you determine the right size system for your home through the analysis of your
home's heating and air conditioning needs. This process is a Heat Loss/Heat Gain Survey, during which we will measure your windows, doors, walls, floors, and check the insulation,
ductwork and building materials. The second step is to analyze your comfort needs and the way you live in your home. With this information, AIRQUIP can recommend the best
system for your family.
AIRQUIP offers a selection of heating equipment including; Gas Furnaces, Gas Boilers, Heat Pumps, Electric Furnaces and Ductless Heat Pumps.
Five Seasonal Heating Tips
- Have your system inspected and serviced by a qualified heating contractor prior to the beginning of each heating season.
- You can save about 3 percent of your heating costs for every degree you lower your thermostat during the winter.
- A programmable thermostat can change your home's temperature up to four times a day. Consider getting one.
- Add a humidifier to your system to give you greater comfort at lower temperature settings.
- Clean or replace your filters regularly. This should be done at least once a month during peak winter usage.
