TRANE GAS FURNACE AND BRADFORD WATER HEATER IN FARMINGTON

Farmington Firehouse

Airquip deals with a lot of houses that have broken and old equipment. In this case, we were happy we could be there to help someone who has taken on some hard times.

There had been a house fire on Hook Road in Farmington. The fire was caused by some failed electrical work, and it ruined their heating and air conditioning system. This is a common problem, and really shows the value of having a dependable contractor doing the work the correct way for you.

Mark Hoffmann, owner of Airquip, went out to look at the house. What he discovered was that the gas furnace, air conditioning system, natural gas fuel lines, gas water heater, and sheet metal duct work were destroyed. This meant that just fixing the system was out of the question. It needed to be replaced.

Trane_Gas_Furnace Mark recommended a Trane gas furnace with a Trane condenser and matched evaporator coil. He also installed a new programmable thermostat, a full replacement of the duct system (the old one was destroyed by smoke damage), gas fuel lines, and a new Bradford 40 gallon water heater.

We were happy to be able to help this customer get their home back in order, and for the fact that no one was injured in the fire. This does show the importance of having a dependable contractor installing your equipment, and making sure that it is well maintained. The last thing you want is something happening to a loved one, or to your property, if it can be avoided with a little extra care and attention. If you want a trained technician from Airquip to come out and take a look at your heating and cooling equipment, or have any questions at all, please call us at (585) 641-3080, or click on the button below to schedule a call for an appointment!
